We’re National Lottery Local Retail Champions 2025!
This Autumn, the public were asked to nominate their local National Lottery retailer who has gone above and beyond to support their community in 2025. Organised by Allwyn, the operator of the National Lottery, we’re delighted to announce that Our Shop was one of 16 Regional Winners from across the UK recognised for their outstanding contributions to their local communities, each receiving a £5,000 prize.
Thank you to everyone who nominated us and we’re thrilled that we found ourselves in the company of some national retail brands!
Our Shop Manager Ian Chapman was invited to attend the celebratory awards evening on Thursday 20th November in London, where the results were revealed.
The initiative is funded by Allwyn’s Social Value fund, to celebrate the impact that National Lottery retailers have on their local communities.
The Manager and Committee now have the pleasure of deciding how to best use the award. A nice problem to have you’ll agree!
